I have been wanting to change my blog header for awhile now. I think we all know that designing for yourself is one of the hardest things to do. I am slowly but surely seeing myself become more refined and developed as a designer. I am realizing what I like and what attracts my eye. It is difficult encompass how you want someone to see you as a designer and a person at a glance. I've started work on my portfolio as well, which will have the same monogram/logo. I want to start embracing a look and feel for myself as I begin sending my portfolio off. I decided to design something that could easily be placed with other elements (such as the hand done type or placing a sans serif type with it etc.)
So I make it my personal goal to blog. For school of course, but just to blog for myself as well. I have failed to do that this break! I have many things I want to post and things I need to share, but have put it off. Something that I want to share today from my favorite blogger was her post about using pin boards for her design clients, just like creating a mood board. This allows both parties to view inspiration and be on the same page for color, texture, etc. I think this is so very very smart! Pinterest has opened a new window for sharing information in the digital world.
